About Us

C.I.I.D.G Erdos Hongjun Electric Power Co., Ltd. was jointly established in 2012 by the Inner Mongolia Erdos Hongjun Investment Co., Ltd., with a 51% stake, and Cambodia International Investment Development Group Co., Ltd., with a 49% stake.

The Inner Mongolia Erdos Hongjun Investment Co., Ltd. was set up in 2009 to invest in energy, property, coal mining, manufacturing, trading and services inside and outside China.

Cambodia International Investment Development Group Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned Cambodian investment holding company.
Each year the power plant is expected to produce approximately 3 billion Kilowatt-hour (kW.h) of electricity for EDC and use 2 million tons of coal, making it Cambodia's largest electricity power plant to solve the electricity shortages in the country.

We are proud of our contribution to help address electricity shortages and support the local community. Last year, C.I.I.D.G Erdos Hongjun Electric Power Co., Ltd. implemented a two-year scholarship program which benefitted 180 qualified Cambodian candidates, most of them from Sihanoukville. They were trained at the China Northeast Dianli University, one of China's famous universities, following which they underwent an internship in a Chinese power plant. After returning to Cambodia, they were offered positions to work at the power plant.
